SELECTED

I am writing this text 10 years after this exhibition. I have not liked it for a long time, although it is important to me as the final group show of the KyivAIR residency and as a show of contemporary art at NAOMA (National Academy of Fine Art and Architecture, Kyiv, Ukraine).

I remember that at this time I was painting, drawing and taking pictures a lot, so I was just trying to structure my practice. I chose certain themes that were constantly repeated in sketches and etudes, and painted new, larger canvases for each of them.
